Why were my car keys in the fridge this morning?

8. You cannot be serious asking this? But just in case you are, a few years ago admittedly I had my car keys in my shirt front pocket and had already removed my hearing aids for the evening. So, when I bent over to quickly retrieve some frozen meat from my Freezer box the keys came out of the pocket to drop inside. With the future sorting of meat the keys obviously dropped to the bottom to be finally retrieved after 6 weeks! Obvious to say anybody with normal hearing would have heard it in the first instance. PS, Yes, I did have emergency keys!
9. maybe u got drunk and went to get some food from the fridge and left your keys in there?
10. Be glad it was the keys and not something else. Once, in an absent-minded moment, I opened the fridge and shuffled around long enough for our cat to crawl inside before I closed the door. About 10 minutes later, after looking for him everywhere else, I looked at the refrigerator and thought "no way". He was fine and the leftovers were gone. He stays away from the fridge now, but when I can't find MY car keys, that's one of the first places I look now. You don't have a cat do you?
