Compact Refrigerators

Is the electric consumption for small fridge (mini bar) is same as larger refrigerator?

  1. The power requirement is related to the temperature difference (inside and outside of the refrigerator), the amount of insulation (or the quality of insulation) and the cooling requirements (how much mass is being cooled). it's VERY unlikely that a small fridge would have the same power consumption as a large regrigerator unless the small one had no insulation, the door was never shut, or you drink so much beer that the fridge is constantly trying to cool down cases and cases of beer that you kept in your trunk on the way home in the mid-day summer. ;-) Hope this helps.
