The freezer compartment of my small fridge keeps building up or over icing. Is there a way to stop that?
It used to not do it but since the first time it happened it has done it ever since. I keep defrosting it but it builds up right away.

- Check your thermostat, if it has one. You may have it turned up too high. Every time you open the door, it lets warm air in which turns to condensation, which freezes and adds to the problem. The easiest way to defrost your freezer is to empty it and turn the hair dryer on high and let the ice melt. Only takes a few minutes and will work on severly iced freezers. Don't let the hair dryer get wet!
- Check the gasket around the door. Make sure it is closing tight. Thermostats can get changed easily during cleaning.
