Can you install a mini-fridge or small refridgerator in a car?

Is it possible to install a mini fridge or small refridgerator in a car? If so could someone please tell me where I can get one installed or how to install one myself. If it is possibe could someone please tell me where I can get one or how to install it myself? And I am located in Pittsburgh, PA if u need my location for a supplier.

  4. Yes you can , if you have an Adapter that plugs into that thing in ur car where u light up cigarettes , then u can plug it into that , and i think it only works if the car is runing.
  5. If you don't care how it looks, you can get a mini-fridge and plug it into a power inverter. College dorm style mini fridges are usually available at the end of semesters near colleges, and the best part is, they're usually free! Power inverters are cheap, and all you have to do is hook it into your cigarette lighter, or run some wires through the firewall from the fuse box. If you want it to look nice, you are probably going to have to go the expensive route and buy one specifically made for the arm rest between the seats of your car, or go to a car shop that does custom interiors and have them install one for you. On the other hand, you could buy a 12 volt refrigerator and find a place in your car to install it yourself, the trick to making an automotive custom job look nice isn't usually a matter of having done it a million times, but instead a matter of time and research on the internet of how to do it yourself.
